Originating in Italy, fondo, short for “gran fondo”, is a long-distance, mass-participation cycling event.

Join us for a day of community, movement, farms, and good food! The event will begin as a group bike ride in the city towards Hartnett Farms ATL, a gorgeous and historical property located near the West End in the Bush Mountain neighborhood. Farmers Niamke and Tawndalaya will walk us through the breathtaking and historic green acres, and we’ll enjoy a meal prepared with local ingredients.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Patagonia & The Spindle team will lead a group bike ride to Hartnett Farms  [approx. 13 miles]

• Farmer-led tour of Hartnett Farms; not only will you get to see how they steward the land by carefully choosing a large diversity of plants and herbs, but you’ll also learn about the history of segregation-era Atlanta and how the land was used to uplift the local community.

• Dyer’s Alchemy Activation:  dye your own garment with natural dyes!

• Chef-curated dinner using farm-grown produce

• Bonfire + more!
